10. The diagram shows a ship using an echo sounder to measure the depth of the sea. The results are shown as two blips on an oscilloscope, one is made when the sound is sent out and the other when it returns to the ship after reflecting from the seabed. If the blips are 0.5 s apart and the speed of sound in water is 5000 m/s how deep is the sea.
